Awaken your senses with mouthwatering grilled oysters and bottomless mimosas as the Gaslamp Quarter's newest cocktail lounge launches what will certainly become a legendary brunch, complete with morning cocktails, entertainment and spectacular fare. This season, Bailiwick delights San Diego with a weekend champagne-filled brunch, where the party is the main attraction. Bailiwick’s brunch includes a bathtub filled with bubbly, and they lend wooden mallets and Lewis bags for customers to crack ice for their signature or bespoke cocktails.
“We are thrilled to offer San Diegans a much-needed late morning dining option with exquisite food and drink pairings at the centerpiece,” said Bailiwick Executive Chef Konstantin Plavnik. “It’s going to be a rip-roaring party.”
Brunch at Bailiwick consists of a one-of-a-kind concoction of locally derived fresh bites, such as specialty breakfast sandwiches paired with equally sumptuous hand-crafted cocktails. Bailiwick’s weekend brunch has officially kicked off and will be served every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. Bailiwick will remain open the remainder of the day for cocktails and an evening menu.
Located in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter, Bailiwick, which opened on Jan. 12, 2013, presents the town’s 'best cocktail party,' as well as seasonal and sustainable bites – limited to five special plates each week.
Bailiwick, with its inviting decor accented by chandeliers and signature clawfoot bathtub, offers a seamless transition between a night in the gaslamp and an effortlessly entertaining morning. Providing cocktail and food pairing lessons, quality signature and classic libations, and a speakeasy-made-easy ambiance, Bailiwick has proven to be a unique addition for locals in the chaotic Gaslamp Quarter.
