Baja Beach Bar Opens at the Former Green Flash Location in Pacific Beach

April 26, 2014

Armando's The Green Flash closed on Sunday, April 13 after a nearly 50 year tenancy, and it's new tenant, Baja Beach Bar, owned and operated by the Sunset Restaurant Management Group (owners of Cabo Cantina, PB Cantina, Fiesta Cantina, and others) has already opened its doors. The building is now pink, the outside tables now don festive Margarita glasses, and the notorious 2-for-1 happy hour signs are visibly on display. The once-family oriented restaurant opened this weekend and is ready to turn the corner of Thomas and Ocean Front walk into another rowdy bar scene, this time on the beachfront.

Sunset Restaurant Management Group currently owns and operates 14 locations throughout Southern California. Baja Beach Cafe offers breakfast beginning at 8am and food served until close at 2am daily! All drinks are 2-4-1 prices from 4-8pm (Mon-Fri) and 10:30pm-12:30am everyday (which seems not to make sense)!

Baja Beach Cafe is also offering weekend brunch and nightly specials including All You Can Eat Taco Tuesdays for $4.95; Wine Down Wednesdays with half-priced bottles of wine; and $9.95 All You Can Eat Prime Rib. Like the other television-centric locations, they'll have all major sporting packages: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, UFC Fights, and major pay-per-view boxing matches.

Baja Beach Cafe is located at 701 Thomas St in Pacific Beach. For more information, visit bajabeachcafe.com, and follow on Facebook and Instagram.
