Get Your Tickets to the Taste of Little Italy and Sample Some of San Diego's Hottest Restaurants | Wednesday, June 18

June 12, 2014

Little Italy is possibly the hottest neighborhood in San Diego for dining right now, and for one night only, you can sample it all. The annual Taste of Little Italy is coming up on Wednesday, June 18 from 5-9 pm, featuring 32 of Little Italy’s restaurants opening their doors and inviting guests in to get a little taste of their menus. Like last year, there are two routes that each come at a cost, but SanDiegoVille has 2 full route passes (a $90 value) that will give one lucky winner and their guest a chance to get a bite from all the participating eateries. Input your email below, confirm it and we'll contact the winner no later than Tuesday, June 17!

During this year's Taste of Little Italy, participants will get the chance to munch on pretzel bites with Sculpin beer cheese and Calico mustard from Ballast Point, grilled octopus from Monello, bacon wrapped dates stuffed with pepper jack cheese from Craft & Commerce, Kurobuta pork meatballs with Rhubarb marinara and wild onion pickle from Juniper & Ivy, fresh oysters on the half shell from Ironside Fish & Oyster, and so much more deliciousness.

Taste of Little Italy ticketholders can go from restaurant to restaurant with a Taste Passport, which lists participating restaurants and each location’s specific menu offering.  It’s an easy walk, with no shuttles required.  After each “bite,” restaurant staff will marks off the stop on the passport and then it’s off to the next stop.

Some of the restaurants participating in this year's Taste of Little Italy include Ironside Fish & Oyster, Juniper & Ivy, Ballast Point Tasting Room & Kitchen, Bencotto, Monello, Caffe Italia, Fabrison’s, PrepKitchen, Landini’s Pizza, Queenstown Public House, Puerto La Boca, Buon Appetito, Craft & Commerce, Filippi’s Pizza Grotto, Isola Pizza Bar, La Villa, Mimmo’s Italian Village, Petrini’s and many more!

Tickets for this year's Taste of Little Italy are priced at $29 per person for a single route (North or South), $45 per person for full access and all can be purchased online. This is an all-ages food festival, however some establishments will require 21+ aged guests due to any alcohol included in their taste selection. To learn more, purchase tickets or learn about all the participants and what dishes will be served, visit littleitalysd.com/events/taste-of-little-italy.
