The new wave of pairing dinners at Spike Africa’s will rush in this July 30 in the form of a collaboration between the downtown restaurant and Mother Earth Brew Co. The four-course event will encourage guests to explore both the inspiration and skill behind carefully created dishes accompanied by some of the city’s finest craft beers. The dinner is an example of Spike’s newly implemented beer program, reflecting their commitment to continually rotate their draft beer selection and offer events to highlight some of the city’s smaller breweries and hops that are worth some hype.
Spike Africa's and Mother Earth Brew Co.'s 4 course dinner is priced at a modest $44, and includes the following:
Course 1 - Jamaican Jerk Prawn Skewer with charred radicchio slaw and orange and cumin vinaigrette paired with Sin Tax Imperial PB Stout
Course 2 - Grilled Stone Fruit and Montchevré Goat Cheese with wild rocket arugula and a pomegranate drizzle paired with Cali’ Creamin’ Vanilla Cream Ale
Course 3 - Pin Up Pale Ale Braised Short Rib with atomic horseradish herb spaetzle and roasted root vegetables paired with Pin Up Pale Ale
Course 4 - Rocky Road Mousse with roasted almonds, marshmallow cream, fresh berries and spiked chocolate ganache paired with Kismet IPA
