Organized by PushPins Media and sponsored by Hormel Black Label Bacon, this event will unite the masses with San Diego's finest chefs, breweries, eateries, and distilleries for a day of unlimited indulgence in honor of International Bacon Day. San Diego Bacon Week is already well underway, and the week's worth of porky pleasures culminates with the International Bacon Film Festival on Friday, August 29, and the grand finale - San Diego Bacon Fest on Saturday, August 30, from 1-5pm.

Bacon will be highlighted in a variety of dishes offered by a gigantic congregation of food purveyors. Come hungry as the list of participating bacon curators currently on board for Bacon Fest includes Sublime Tavern, The Patio, Sessions Public, Southpaw Social Club, Toronado, Bub's, Sabuku Sushi, Taste and Thirst, Studio Diner, Crazee Burger, O'Brien's Pub, The Blind Burro, The Promiscuous Fork, Slater's 50/50 and more.

As if all-you-can-eat isn't enough, admission will also include unlimited beverage samples. Participating breweries include Acoustic Ales, Arcana Brewing, Alesmith, Ballast Point, Belching Beaver, Culture, Green Flash, Mike Hess Brewing, Hillcrest Brewing, Karl Strauss Brewing, The Lost Abbey, Mission Brewery, Monkey Paw Brewing, Ninkasi Brewing, Oskar Blues Brewery, Societe Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Stone Brewing Co. and more.  There is also rumored to be some bacon vodka and bacon moonshine at the party.
