Big Kahuna's in Crown Point Becomes Bayside Landing | New Look, New Menu, Same Ownership

Paul Fatta has owned and operated Big Kahuna's in Crown Point for 13 years. Recently, the restaurant shut down and signs posted on the outside said it was only for a brief remodel. 35 days after closing, the eatery reopened as the completely different and unrecognizable, albeit much prettier and more modern concept, Bayside Landing.

Bayside Landing really has no remnants of it's former Hawaiian-themed branding. The restaurant now has garage door windows that open up to Ingraham and give the interior an airy feel, as well as a new menu featuring lighter items.

"Things are changing here in San Diego and we wanted to offer a more open feel with healthier options," explained owner Paul Fatta. "We kept all the staff, many of which have been with us for many years."

Bayside Landing has been packed since reopening a few days ago. They are still finalizing the food and decor at the restaurant, awaiting new signage and printed menus.

Bayside Landing is located at  3780 Ingraham Street b/t La Playa Ave & Moorland Dr in Pacific Beach's Crown Point neighborhood. For more information, visit baysidelanding.com, follow on Facebook and check out the photos below.
