Cheeba Hut to Bring Toasted Sandwiches to Pacific Beach | Opening November 8

November 6, 2014

This Saturday, November 8, the marijuana-themed toasted sandwich chain, Cheeba Hut, is launching its second San Diego location at the former Bite of Boston space, situated at 4651 Mission Blvd in Pacific Beach. After taking over the spot about a month ago, the place is already remodeled with a hip, tiki-stoner motif and even a full mural honoring nearby Ocean Front Walk, featuring the local legend, Slomo, in all his rollerblading tai chi glory.

The Arizona-based company's first location opened in 1998 in Tempe, near ASU, and has since grown to 15 locations in 6 states. Expect plenty of cannabis references on the large menu of sandwiches, salads and other munchies. Although the SDSU College Area location serves beer and wine, we don't believe that the new PB location has a liquor license. Luckily, the newly-opened Twisted Manzanita tasting room is right across the street and allows patrons to bring in food.
