North Park’s beer-centric neighborhood bistro, Waypoint Public, has a handful of holiday happenings brewing this December - including a “12 Beers of Christmas” series launching Dec 12, offering special holiday brews paired with (free!) curated bites by Executive Chef Amanda Baumgarten. There is also a charity-driven toy drive that the whole family can enjoy with an appearance by Santa on Dec 16, as well as the addition of a few festive sweet treats including a twist on the classic Holiday Yule Log and Hot Apple Cider offered throughout the month of December.
Waypoint has also added two new holiday-inspired sweet treats to their menu. Don't miss in-house Pastry Chef Jennifer Reinhart’s decadently dark Holiday Yule Log, made from black cocoa devil's food cake, rolled with eggnog cream & cranberry jam and decorated with whimsical meringue mushrooms, offered throughout December. For those looking for a non-boozy bevy to cozy up to, Waypoint’s special-edition Hot Apple Cider infused with spiced star anise, orange zest, cinnamon and Chile de árbol should bring the holiday heat you’re looking for.
Waypoint Public is located at 3794 30th St. in North Park. For more information, visit WaypointPublic.com or call (619) 255-8778.
