Inaugural KAABOO Del Mar Music & Cultural Festival Releases Line Up For September 18-20 Event

The inaugural KAABOO Del Mar music and cultural festival is set to make an impact on the American festival circuit with an initial line-up led by headliners No Doubt, The Killers and Zac Brown Band. Set for September 18-20 at the world-famous Del Mar Racetrack & Fairgrounds in Del Mar, KAABOO Del Mar will offer music lovers an unforgettable weekend with three days of performances on seven stages and six unparalleled experiences: Humor Me, Palate, Indulgences, ArtworK, Encore, and Posh Nosh, details of which will be announced leading up to the event but will include food, wine, beer, comedy and local vendors, embracing the San Diego community with open arms by spotlighting area businesses.

The initial KAABOO Del Mar line-up includes a wide variety of musical stylings appealing to a multi-generational audience. KAABOO Del Mar weekend passes are on sale now. Options include a limited number of GA weekend passes at $259, as well as a VIP “Hang Five” weekend pass available at $699. All VIP passes include entry to a Thursday pre-event, invitation-only celebration with musical performances from Sheryl Crow and Ed Kowalcyzk, formerly of 90s rock band, Live. There is also a Hang Ten VIP pass at $2499 per pass (includes all of the Hang Five VIP benefits), plus: complimentary food and beverages in designated areas, access to the KAABOO Artist Lounge and “Hang Ten” Lounge areas on the track in-field, complimentary valet parking, dedicated “Hang Ten” pre-event planning support and on-site concierge service.

In addition, $1 from each pass purchased will go to the “KINDNESS” charity program, created by KAABOO organizers benefitting four local charities. The funds raised will be divided equally among the charity partners for support of programs directly impacting the local San Diego community. When purchasing passes, guests will be given the option of donating additional funds, with KAABOO matching each donation, dollar for dollar. The “KINDNESS” partners include Feeding America San DiegoSan Diego Music Foundation, Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter and Operation Amped.
