Think You Have What It Takes To Be A Food Fighter? Don't Miss The Open Call Auditions On Saturday, March 28

March 18, 2015

NBC's exciting cooking competition show, Food Fighters, is returning for Season 2 and they are in search for the next lineup of America’s best home cooks (ages 9 and up) and professional chefs to compete in front of former-Man vs. Food star Adam Richman! Think you have what it takes, there is an open casting call this Saturday, March 28, from 10am-3pm at Embassy Suites in Downtown San Diego!

Food Fighters gives normal, everyday folks a once in a lifetime shot at cooking greatness with the chance to win a huge cash prize, not to mention bragging rights, by going one-on-one against a lineup of professional chefs. Want to try out? First, complete an application, then get cooking. Each applicant is asked to prepare and bring one signature dish, which you will plate at the open call to be sampled by a Food Fighters' taster. You must bring your own utensils, plates, forks etc. in order to serve and plate your food.

Once at the main casting table each person will be given a few minutes to plate before the Food Fighters' taster comes around. You will not have access to any equipment to heat/cool your food, so it is up to you to find the best way to transport your signature dish to the open call so the taster can try your dish. You will only be allowed to enter the casting area with what you are able to carry yourself.

Embassy Suites San Diego Bay is located at 601 Pacific Highway downtown. For more information and to obtain an application, visit foodfighterscasting.com.
