This August, in light of Julia Child’s birthday on August 15, the
Grant Grill at the historic US Grant Hotel is launching a wonderful charity tie-in with the Julia Child Foundation. On August 5, The Grant Grill and Chef Mark Kropczynski will launch a fantastic “Cooking with Julia” tasting menu (available from August 6 through the end of the month) in honor of culinary legend Julia Child’s birthday - a portion of the proceeds from the sales of which will benefit the
Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts.
The month-long tasting menu will change weekly and will give diners an opportunity to taste some of the dishes Chef Mark personally cooked alongside Julia Child in 2002, when he had the rare opportunity to prepare a multi-course meal under her direction.
