Little Italy's Pan Bon Introduces Nightly Specials

March 4, 2016

Why stick to San Diego when you can take a culinary journey to Verona, Italy on your date night? Pan Bon has introduced nightly dinner specials that will have you craving Italian cuisine and wine each night of the week. The Little Italy eatery features fresh sauces made from scratch, homemade pastas, wines from the Italian countryside and pizza crafted from Lievito Madre, a starter-type yeast that rises for over 48 hours. Stop by for a taste of what’s cooking on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings!

Tuesday night is now Couples Pasta Night at Pan Bon! Grab your date and try the Old World Italian pasta creations at the elegant, yet simple spot. The restaurant has lined up their saucepans and prepared pasta for an unforgettable night out in Little Italy. Beginning at 5pm, receive a portion of pasta for two and three sauces of your choosing for $23.90. Select from the Pomodoro & Piselli, Quattro Formaggi, Bolognese or Vegetarian sauces. To spice things up, Pan Bon will also offer a Chef’s Sauce of the Week as well as gluten-free options each Tuesday.

After stopping by Pan Bon on Tuesday evenings, you’ll be kneading more in no time. Make a return trip on Wednesday night for Giro Pizza Night. Giro, which in Italian means “to go around,” is a night full of all-you-can-eat rotating pizza for $15 per person. The mouthwatering meal features special creations from the chef and pies from the eatery’s menu. Diners will receive a card with red and green sides. When the time has come to eat more pizza, simply turn the card to the green side and enjoy an unlimited selection of craft pizza. Need to take a breather in between slices of cheese- and meat-filled deliciousness? Turn the card to the red side and sip on a glass of Italian wine.

What better way to kick off an early weekend than by sipping on a glass of wine paired with your gourmet bowl of pasta? Every Thursday, toast to 30% off select bottles of wine at Pan Bon’s Wine Night. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or just experimenting with Italian wines, you can choose from a menu that includes vintage wines straight from the vineyards of Italy. If you love a fine wine and cheese combo, pair your vino with the Ravioli Radicchio, housemade radicchio-filled ravioli with a rich gorgonzola sauce.

Pan Bon carefully blends creative specialties with classic menu options, bringing a slice of Verona to San Diego’s Little Italy. When planning your weekly dining journey, make a reservation through Open Table and mention “Couples Pasta Night, “Giro Pizza Night” or “Wine Night.”
