Searsucker Del Mar Launches New Price Fixed Menu, Happy Hour & Derby Brunch

April 20, 2016

Searsucker Del Mar has debuted a new spring pre-fixe menu that's available nightly for just $35 per person. The Del Mar destination has also unleashed a new daily happy hour and will host a Kentucky Derby brunch on May 7.

Complementing the regular dinner menu, Chef Vincent Schofield has created a spectacular three-course seasonal spring pre-fixe menu offered nightly for just $35 per person. Boasting some of the season’s freshest and boldest flavors, the spring pre-fixe menu features your choice of a potato and leek soup; beef meatballs served with whipped ricotta, red sauce and garlic toast; swordfish with tomatoes and salmoriglio; risotto with raw asparagus salad, shaved egg yolk and parmesan; and is finished with a choice between the signature s’mores bar or panna cotta.

Searsucker Del Mar will also now be offering a daily Happy Hour (including Saturday and Sunday) from 4:30-6:30pm available in the bar and lounge areas. Guests can enjoy $5 draft beers, $7 wine by the glass, $7 infusions and $8 signature cocktails as well as a variety of small bites including smoked hot wings, tuna poke, beef meatballs and more.

In honor of the Kentucky Derby on May 7, both Searsucker San Diego and Searsucker Del Mar will host a Derby Brunch, televising the races on their TVs and featuring special cocktails. The event is a personal favorite of Executive Chef Brian Malarkey and to celebrate, Searsucker San Diego will feature a special Kentucky Mule cocktail while Searsucker Del Mar will feature mint juleps and grasshoppers. The Del Mar staff will also be dressed to theme in derby attire.
