To celebrate their 2nd birthday, Common Theory Public House is hosting an anniversary bash full of delicious events that feature some of the best flavors of San Diego. Head to Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa and enjoy their one-of-a-kind anniversary brew, a poke and beer pairing dinner with some of San Diego’s top chefs, discounted beer bottles and a day full of sour and stout beer taking place this June 1 through 5.
On Wednesday, June 1 at 7pm, Common Theory will be releasing their 2nd Anniversary Beer, made by their friends at 32 North Brewing Company. This hoppy beer is full of smooth tropical fruit, floral and spicy flavors. Get there fast as the first 50 people who order this specialty-crafted, hoppy wheat beer will get to take a little piece of the party home…a Common Theory 2nd Anniversary Beer Glass!
The fun doesn’t stop there! Common Theory is rounding up the best chefs in San Diego for the ultimate “Poke-Off”! On Thursday, June 2, guest chefs such as Charles Andres from Ocean Pacific Grille, Chef Kevin Templeton from barleymash, Chef Robert Villicano from Common Theory Public House and Chef David Abella from West Steak and Seafood will battle-it-out and showcase their most inventive, fresh-from-the-sea poke recipes. The menu will be available at 5pm.
The weekend is all about the beer! In honor of their birthday, take part in Common Theory’s Black Friday sale on Friday, June 3 and get 20-35% off a selection of special bottles of brew. Keep the party going on June 4 with Common Theory’s Super Sour and Stout Saturday that features an epic lineup of rare pours such as the sour Almanac Farmer's Reserve Strawberry and B.Nektar Dwarf Invasion Tart Cherry Mead, and stout AleSmith Vietnamese Speedway and Clown Shoes Luchador en Fuego just to name a few.
