Olala Crepes will open its first location as a stall in San Diego's Liberty Public Market, offering a menu of stuffed French pancakes to the masses, anticipated to open this March.
Olala Crepes founder Samuel Icyk hails from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in the south of France and has always dreamt about starting a business in the United States. He previously worked with the marketing and management departments of a large accounting firm in France and has consulted with several area businesses. Samuel also worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando in the Bocuse French Gastronomic Restaurant. After years learning guest communication, food services and management, Samuel decided to launch his own crepes company in the United States, based on his grand mother's recipes.
