Whisknladle Hospitality Group Goes Mobile With Mexican-Inspired Que Milagro Food Truck

March 6, 2017

San Diego's Whisknladle Hospitality - known for its Whisknladle, PrepKitchen & Catania restaurants - are getting into the food truck game with the debut of Que Milagro - a Mexican-inspired mobile eatery set to debut this weekend at Milagro Winery in Ramona.

After more than nine years in the local restaurant space as the formative players in the now-cliché farm-to-table movement, the Whisknladle hospitality group is expanding into the food truck space with the Mexican-focused Que Milagro. The food truck has been in the works for some time now, conceptualized by owner Arturo Kassel and Corporate Chef/Partner Ryan Johnston with menu development by Chef Vince Schofield.

Highlights from Schofield’s menu for Que Milagro include ideal post-wine drinking dishes such as spicy tuna tostada with avocado, peanuts, fried shallots, and chile; carnitas "cheese steak" with pork shoulder, salsa, pickled spicy vegetables, and cilantro; carne asada fries with grilled beef, salsa, pickled spicy vegetables, guacamole, and cilantro; and a TJ bacon wrapped hot dog with chorizo, mayo, pickled jalapeño & carrot, and salsa. True to Whisknladle Hospitality's culinary ethos, Chef Vince and the team will be sourcing local ingredients and working closely with farmers to ensure guests are enjoying fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Que Milagro will be posted up at Milagro Winery located at 18750 Littlepage Road in Ramona, CA, every Saturday and Sunday during tasting room hours from 12:30pm to 4pm. You can also expect to see the food truck popping up around town in the near future.
