Prior to unveiling the first San Diego outpost this Fall, Shake Shack will pop-up at Modern Times Beer with a limited menu on September 16.
Shake Shack will debut its initial San Diego location at Westfield UTC on October 12, with a second area branch opening in Mission Valley in 2018, but the company's first appearance in America's Finest City will occur on Sunday, September 16, from 11:30am to 3:30pm at Modern Times' Fortress of Ratitude.
At the Shake Shack pre-opening popup, a very condensed menu of burgers will be offered, as well as Modern Times Beer. Food and drink tickets will be sold at the door for adults 21 and up, as well as for kids under 12. There will also be entertainment of live music curated by Sofar Sounds San Diego and a cross-country traveling 1970s VW bus photo booth.
