Larsen's Steakhouse Unveils In La Jolla

November 30, 2017

Debuting tonight as part of Westfield UTC's $600 million expansion, which includes the addition of many new dining options, is Larsen's Steakhouse - a decade-old brand of upscale surf & turf restaurants centered around dry-aged meats with 6 locations currently sited in California & Nevada.

Larsen's Steakhouse occupies 7,500-square-feet of space at 4545 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 1050, in La Jolla in a newly developed building that is part of Westfield UTC’s ongoing expansion and revitalization. Located at the intersection of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue, the building is situated as a primary entrance to the outdoor retail & dining center and will include a concierge staff and valet service. The upscale steakhouse offers expansive indoor and outdoor dining areas, as well as a piano lounge and private dining spaces.

The menu will be in the hands of Executive Chef Logan Shumar and centered around dry aged steaks, fresh seafood and other typical steakhouse fare. Due to the intricacies of the dry aging process, Larsen’s requires a highly skilled butcher to be at the location at all times to monitor the steaks. Behind the bar there will be 500 varieties of wine offered, including hundreds by the glass.

"San Diego is a natural next step for the expansion of Larsen’s Steakhouse - it’s home to big business, affluent neighborhoods, beautiful campuses and exquisite shopping - and we knew we wanted Westfield UTC to be our next location," said Larsen's Restaurants President Flemming Larsen.

Larsen's Steakhouse will serve lunch Monday through Friday from 11am-2:30pm and dinner Monday through Thursday from 5-10pm, Friday & Saturday from 5-11pm and Sunday from 5-9pm. Happy Hour is daily from 4:30-6:30pm. For more information, visit larsenssteakhouse.com, call 858.886.7561 and check out the menus below.
