More Details Emerge For CH Projects Incoming Raised By Wolves Project

November 15, 2017

We broke the news earlier this year that San Diego's hippest hospitality collective CH Projects (Born & Raised, Craft & Commerce, Ironside Fish & Oyster and more) was opening a cocktail-centric bar dubbed Raised By Wolves as part as Westfield UTC's nearly $1billion expansion. We now know that the 3,500 square-foot project will also offer a retail component and is anticipated to debut in early 2018.

Westfield UTC is bringing in a whole host of amazing dining and drinking establishments to La Jolla as part of its $600 million upgrade, including the recently opened Shake Shack, a branch of the popular Taiwainese chain Din Tai Fung, Arbor by the Queenstown restaurant crew, a second area Great Maple, and much more. The outdoor mall will also be getting a unique cocktail-driven retail store with a 'secret' bar inspired by 19th century Europe.

Raised By Wolves will open in The Pointe plaza across from the Apple Store and offer a 1,500 square foot retail liquor store selling everything from rare spirits to CH Projects swag to all sorts of bar products. Through a hidden entrance at the back of the shop, guests will be able to access a 2,000 square-foot, reservation-only cocktail bar designed by Paul Basile of BASILE Studio, featuring a fancy central bar and mesmerizing light aspects. Raised By Wolves is anticipated to open by January 2018.

CH Projects is also in the process of opening its 3rd Soda & Swine location on the University of California San Diego campus, taking over the building formerly occupied by Porter's Pub that has been empty since June 2015. The project was approved by the University Centers Advisory Board last Spring and is anticipated to open by the end of the 2018 UCSD school year.
