Sophisticated Cannabis Supper Club Emerges In San Diego | Lego Optimo Kicks Off Six Dinner Series On January 25

January 5, 2018

In collaboration with Chefs Flor Franco & Benito Molina in partnership with Urbn Leaf Medical Marijuana Dispensary, Lego Optimo will be San Diego’s first sophisticated fine dining experience for the cannabis connoisseur, premiering this January for an evening of four strains, four courses, and forever memories of an evening of fine food, cannabis, music and magic.

Taking place on January 25 from 6-9pm at an undisclosed location, Lego Optimo will begin with a private tour of one of San Diego’s most premier recreational cannabis retail shops, followed by a four-course, locally sourced dinner created by Chef Flor Franco of Franco’s on Fifth and Chef Benito Molina, of Ensenada's Restaurante Manzanilla and panel judge for MasterChef Mexico 2017. The four-course meal, which is offered in vegetarian and omnivore form, will be paired with four strains of cannabis, chosen by a cannabis "sommelier" in collaboration with the chefs. This will not be an infused dinner, rather the cannabis will be smoked between courses. The unique evening will also include cannabis education from local cannabis growers and vendors, and music from local artists.

This dinner is the first of a series of six dinners. Each dinner will provide attendees with a completely unique dining experience. Flor Franco and six different well-known chefs, including Baja sensation Javier Plascencia, will create the cuisine for each dinner. The cannabis strains paired with each dinner will reflect a broad range of growing styles, locales, flavors and effects. And all dinners will include a private dispensary tour, local music, and education on a wide range of cannabis topics.

Tickets to the Lego Optimo dinner are limited to only 30 diners at the cost of $195 for vegetarian dishes and $225 for meat-inclusive. For more information, and to get your passes, visit legooptimacannbisdinners.brownpapertickets.com.
