San Diego's Rapidly Expanding Mr. Moto Pizza House To Open Fifth Location In Ocean Beach On July 6

June 10, 2019

San Diego's rapidly-expanding Mr. Moto Pizza House will grand open its newest restaurant in Ocean Beach on Saturday, July 6.

Mr. Moto was founded in Pacific Beach in 2015 by Gibran Fernandez, a San Diego native who started in the pizza business at the age of 23 working for La Jolla's Pizza On Pearl, which was owned by Girban's Uncle Aram Baloyan, who also has ownership interests in The Taco Stand chain and La Jolla's Himitsu sushi restaurant. Mr. Moto Pizza House has since expanded with locations in North Park, Point Loma, and another in La Jolla where it took over Baloyan's Pizza On Pearl.

Located at 1929 Cable Street in the brand new Ocean Beach Plaza, which will also  house a new Dirty Birds restaurant (fingers-crossed, as they had to reapply for a beer & wine license after being denied a full liquor), the new Mr. Moto will celebrate its grand opening with a VIP event on July 6, starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am. While still offering its classics, Mr. Moto's nnew location will take it up a notch with their inventive pizza toppings, such as the Vodka Cream Pizza with vodka sauce, raspberry chipotle sauce, bacon and sour cream, or the Smoky Greens with fresh spinach, ricotta, garlic and sweet balsamic glaze.

Mr. Moto OB will be open from 11am-10pm, Monday through Sunday. For more information, visit mrmotopizza.com and check out the menu below.
