All-You-Can-Eat Japanese Shabu Shabu Chain Mo-Mo-Paradise To Open San Diego Location

January 16, 2020

Straight out of Tokyo and coming soon to San Diego is Mo-Mo-Paradise, an all-you-can-eat Japanese hot pot chain with over 100 locations around the globe.

Identifying a lack of authentic hot pot restaurants in the United States, Japanese-Taiwanese brothers Len and Anthony Hayashi along with their friend David Chen, brought the first location of Tokyo based-chain Mo-Mo Paradise to Los Angeles' Rowland Heights neighborhood in 2016. Since its first restaurant opening in 1993, Mo-Mo-Paradise has expanded to over 100 location in over 20 cities, including branches in Japan, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, USA, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Mo-Mo-Paradise offers a high-end all-you-can-eat experience with four soup bases to choose from - shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, kimchi, and tonkotsu.  The Japanese hot pots are cooked tableside with a large variety of thinly sliced international and local meats like St. Helens Premium Angus belly and Snake River Farms Kurobuta pork. The flat-fee price at Mo-Mo-Paradise includes all-you-can-eat beef, pork, vegetables, rice, noodles and Japanese brown curry, as well as access to over twenty fresh seasonal vegetables and side dishes available from a buffet station called the "Farmers' Market". There is also an all-you-can-drink "Drink Garden," which includes a craft soda machine, coffee, and a build-your-own boba area. Dessert is also included, as well as ramen, which is made to order. The San Diego location will also have a beer and wine license.

Mo-Mo-Paradise is expected to open at 8120 Mira Mesa Boulevard, Unit 102, in Mira Mesa Mall by this summer. For more information, visit momoparadiseusa.com.
