Sands Coffee Roasters to Debut First Storefront in Oceanside, Bringing Turkish Brews and Global Flavors To San Diego's North County

Sands Coffee Roasters, a locally rooted specialty coffee company known for its authentic Turkish coffee and signature Dubai Chocolate Bars, is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar location in San Diego's North County city of Oceanside.

Founded as a coffee cart by two brothers with a shared passion for high-quality, ethically sourced coffee, Sands Coffee Roasters has quietly built a reputation among aficionados for its expertly roasted beans and innovative drinks. What began as a personal hobby has grown into a full-scale venture, driven by meticulous sourcing from some of the world's premier coffee-growing regions and a commitment to sustainability and responsible trade. The new café will take over the former Aguie's Upholstery storefront on Oceanside Boulevard, a space previously occupied by the family-run upholstery business for more than a decade.

While an official opening date has not yet been announced, plans have been filed with the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality, signaling the next step in Sands' expansion. Once open, the Oceanside storefront will offer an expansive menu that blends traditional and modern coffee culture, serving a wide array of hot and cold beverages including espresso-based drinks, pour-over brews, and unique specialty items like espresso tonics, affogatos, and cappuccino freddos.

For those seeking non-coffee options, the café will also feature red velvet lattes, matcha, hot chocolate, and a variety of fruit-forward virgin mojitos. Complementing the drinks is a curated selection of fresh bakery goods, Dubai chocolates, and Mediterranean pastries designed to enhance the coffee experience with a nod to the brand’s cultural roots.

Sands Coffee Roasters is expected to open by year's end at 2605 Oceanside Boulevard, Suite H, in San Diego's North County city of Oceanside. For more information, visit sandscoffeeroasters.com.
