One of San Diego's premier outdoor arts festivals returns to Liberty Station this summer as ArtWalk Liberty Stationcelebrates its 21st annual event from July 31 through August 2, 2026. The three-day festival will once again transform Liberty Station's Arts District into a vibrant open-air gallery featuring more than 175 artists from across the United States and Mexico, showcasing original paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glasswork, ceramics and more in one of Southern California's most picturesque settings.
The festivities begin on Friday, July 31, with the 4th Annual Preview pARTy, a special ticketed kickoff event from 5 to 8pm that gives guests the first opportunity to browse and purchase artwork before the weekend crowds arrive. The all-ages evening includes live music, food, drinks and the chance to meet participating artists in a more intimate atmosphere. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available now, and SanDiegoVille readers can save $5 per ticket by using promo code SDVILLE at checkout.
The free public festival continues on Saturday, August 1, from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday, August 2, from 10am to 5pm. Throughout the weekend, visitors can explore artwork from emerging and established artists representing a wide variety of styles and mediums while enjoying live performances from San Diego musicians presented in partnership with the San Diego Music Awards. Festivalgoers can also sample offerings from local food vendors and nearby Liberty Station restaurants while spending the day immersed in San Diego's creative community.
Families will once again find plenty to enjoy at KidsWalk, an interactive area featuring hands-on art projects and creative activities designed to inspire young artists. Additional art experiences hosted by community partners will also give attendees opportunities to create artwork of their own while learning about local arts organizations.
