September 12, 2012

Mark your calendars as Urban Solace's kid brother - Solace & The Moonlight Lounge in Encinitas - will welcome friends, foodies and neighbors to enjoy drinks and music in celebration of its one-year anniversary on Sunday, September 16 at 6 p.m.

Executive Chef and Owner Matt Gordon first opened the doors to Solace & The Moonlight Lounge one year ago as a neighborhood restaurant that has since grown into a San Diego favorite. Chef Matt prides himself and his restaurants in serving natural, organic, sustainable and whole foods at both Solace & The Moonlight Lounge and Urban Solace in North Park.

Guests are asked to make a $10 donation at the door to benefit StandUp for Kids. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by emailing [email protected] with their name and number of guests in their party.

StandUp For Kids is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 to help rescue homeless and at-risk youth. The nonprofit provides basic necessities such as clothes, hygiene products, and food to kids on the street without asking for anything in return. StandUp For Kids is run almost entirely by volunteers who go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless and street kids improve their lives.
