Downtown's newest watering hole, The Commons, known for its signature chicken wings, is offering $12 Right Wing and Left Wing specials. Soda Water
Cranberry Juice
(Color Red)

Left-Wing

At the Grant Grill in San Diego, inside the US GRANT Hotel where 14 U.S. Presidents have stayed, Mixologist Jeff Josenhans has created the Off the Record cocktail with Kona Coffee Bean Infused High West Double Rye Whiskey from Utah to represent GOP hopeful Mitt Romney and Macadamia Nut Liqueur to represent President Obama. Finished with a Macadamia Nut Rim and Coffee Bean Garnish, the drink is served on the rocks.

Located in the Hillcrest community, The Range Kitchen & Cocktails is offering $5 Donkey Punch, Elephant Elixirs and Red Money Shots on Election Day. Those who wish to pair their election-themed beverages with bites can indulge in half-off Freedom Fries and Swing State Sliders.

Searsucker, located in downtown San Diego and helmed by Top Chef finalist Brian Malarkey is know for its approachable and unpretentious cuisine. The below cocktail comes from Pick & Rocks Cocktails, the in-house mixology firm that provides the cocktail menus and programs for all of five Brian's restaurants. Ever changing, flip flopping, but always optimistic, Searsucker will be offering the Pundit's Punch made with Rum, Ginger, Lemon, and Melon as of today…but tomorrow could be made with something new.
