Sample some of San Diego's most delicious local eateries at the 14th annual Taste of Adams Avenue, taking place Sunday, June 29, from 11am to 3pm along Adams Avenue from University Heights through Normal Heights to Kensington. This year’s gastro tour of Adams Avenue features 30 restaurants, coffee houses, wine bars, and unique eateries in one of San Diego’s significant and celebrated neighborhoods. The 2014 Taste of Adams Avenue participants (subject to change) include Blind Lady Ale House, Café 21, Café Cabaret, Chris’ Ono Grinds Island Grill, Circa, Country Kabob Greek, Dark Horse Coffee Roasters, Daofu, DiMille’s Italian Restaurant, El Zarape Mexican Restaurant & Tequileria, Fish Public, Hanna’s Gourmet, The Haven Pizzeria, Heights Tavern, Incredible Cheesecake Company, Jyoti Bihanga, Kensington Café, Lestat’s Coffee House, Liquid Eden Water Store, Mariposa Ice Cream, Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant, Sabuku Sushi, Senor Mangos Juice House, Soda & Swine, Starbuck’s Kensington, Subway, Tam’s Thailand Food, Twiggs on Adams, Village Vino, and Viva Pops. Each of the participants will create a taste of their house specialties.

Taste of Adams Avenue tickets are $35 in advance, and $40 day of the event and may be purchased online at Food lovers can access their favorite restaurants by foot, bike, or by complimentary trolley service available along Adams Avenue during the event. No matter how you intend to get around, be sure to come hungry and pace yourself. In addition to this progressive tasting expedition, attendees can also discover the neighborhoods many exceptional shops along the Adams Avenue business corridor.

Taste of Adams Avenue is presented by the Adams Avenue Business Association, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote and revitalize the Adams Avenue business corridor and is made up of area businesses and property owners.
