Working Class American Diner + Bar To Debut In North Park Within Former-Ritual Kitchen Space

April 13, 2017

Ritual Kitchen & Garden, which debuted at 4095 30th Street in North Park a decade ago, will soon close, making way for the opening of Working Class American Diner + Bar, a late night bar and eatery from the owner of Bayside Landing in Crown Point.

Ritual Tavern was opened in 2007 by owners Michael Flores & Staci Wilkins and soon became a popular neighborhood craft beer bar and eatery, but will soon close. Taking the space will be Working Class, a sports bar from Paul Fatta, who also owns Bayside Landing in San Diego's Crown Point. Fatta intends to renovate the space to make it more open and airy, including the installation of garage door windows and a front firepit. They will update the back patio and add televisions to accomodate sports fanatics.

The menu at Working Class will be similar to Bayside Landing and offer traditional and reimagined pub fair, as well as more than 30 taps devoted to craft beer. Working Class will stay open late and is estimated to open by this fall.
