North Park's master of porky goodness Carnitas Snack Shack has teamed up with one of San Diego's original ramen destinations for a special collaborative ramen offering, available all this June at any of Tajima's 5 area locations.
Chef Hanis Cavin of Carnitas Snack Shack and Chef Sam Morikizono of Tajima have joined forces to create "Pig Meets Ramen" - a collaborative ramen noodle soup that features Tajima's tonkotsu broth and noodles mixed with chili oil and topped with chives, bean sprouts, marinated egg, fried garlic, green onion, nori, shredded dried chili and a thick cut of Carnitas' pork belly, which is cooked in soy sauce. The dish will be available for $10 this June 1-30 at any of Tajima's area locations - Convoy Street, Mercury Street, Hillcrest, East Village and North Park.
