MishMash Reopens At New Home In San Diego's Barrio Logan

September 19, 2017

MishMash closed its Mercado del Barrio restaurant last month, but the neighborhood favorite has already reopened at its new home within the space that last housed Strozzi So-Cal Italian in San Diego's Barrio Logan.

Founded by Chef Doug Cook and his wife Malane Drake, MishMash is an American-fusion bar and restaurant that originally operated as a pop-up eatery, serving local breweries and farmers markets throughout San Diego. In January 2016, MishMash opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Barrio Logan, and after 18 months closed its doors. MishMash's new location is larger than the previous, has an outdoor patio, remains devoted to local craft beer, and centers its food menu around burgers, sandwiches and globally-inspired dishes.

Heading into the former MishMash space in Mercado del Barrio is an outpost of popular South County taco shop Taqueria Revolución, which is anticipated to debut early next year.

MishMash is located at 1805 Newton Avenue in Barrio Logan and is open daily from 10am-9pm. For more information, visit mishmashsd.com and check out the menu below.
