Owned by Sergio Torrisi, Mia Trattoria gets its name from the owner's infant daughter. Torrisi and his father own two restaurants in the Rome region of Italy, and the San Diego transplant has worked at numerous big-name spots, including the James Beard Award-winning Bartolotta at Wynn Las Vegas, Hyatt Indian Wells and The Belvedere at The Peninsula Beverly Hills.
