South Park's The Rose Wine Bar To Replicate In North Park | Mabel's Gone Fishing To Open By Year's End

April 16, 2019

The owners of South Park's The Rose Wine Bar + Bottle Shop are opening a new full service bar and restaurant on 30th Street in the heart of San Diego's North Park. Mabel's Gone Fishing is expected to unveil by late 2019, offering a globally inspired menu complimented by an oyster and gin bar, natural wines, cocktails and area beer.

Chelsea Marlene Coleman and Rae Ellen Gurne, who have operated The Rose Wine Bar in San Diego's South Park community since 2010, are in the process of opening a new restaurant concept in the heart of North Park. Expected to open this fall in a space that last housed a soccer equipment store, Mabel's Gone Fishing will serve an eclectic global-inspired menu with a Mediterranean focus. The restaurant is named after Coleman's dog. To compliment the food menu, there will be a curated list of natural wines from Europe and California, as well as a full list of craft cocktails and area beers by the draft, bottle and can. The eatery will also house a bottle shop.

Mabel's Gonne Fishing is expected to open by year's end at 3770 30th Street in San Diego's North Park. For more information, visit mabelsgonefishing.com.
