OMG Hospitality Group is a San Diego-based restaurant collective founded in 2008 by CEO Eric Leitstein. The company operates such San Diego bars and restaurants as Pacific Beach Ale House, Waterbar, Encinitas Fish Shop, Pacific Beach Fish Shop, Point Loma Fish Shop, Moe's Steakhouse, Molly's Mission Beach, and Union Kitchen & Tap locations in downtown San Diego and Encinitas. OMG was also reportedly in the process of opening Little Italy Fish Shop in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood, but we've received word that concept is no longer in development.
Earlier this year, OMG closed its Backyard Kitchen & Tap space on Garnet Avenue in San Diego's Pacific Beach in order to rebrand the indoor/outdoor space to become a new location of Union Kitchen & Tap. The first Union Kitchen & Tap restaurant opened in San Diego's North County city of Encinitas in 2011. In 2014, a second location opened at 333 5th Avenue in downtown's historic Gaslamp District.

Union Kitchen & Tap offers a menu of modern American tavern fare, as well as a full bar with craft cocktails, local beer and a selection of wine. The restaurant offers lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Highlights from the menu include poke nachos, farmhouse meatballs, roasted mushroom flatbread, kale and quinoa salad, braised short rib with grits, and steak frites.
