Swami's Cafe Targets Vista Village For 10th San Diego Location

June 15, 2017

The popular San Diego-born healthy breakfast & lunch destination Swami's Cafe will open its 10th area location within the 4,900-square-foot indoor/outdoor space last occupied by El Callejon Mexican in downtown Vista Village.

Owner Jaime Osuna opened his first Swami's location on Highway 101 in Encinitas in 2005, offering a breakfast and lunch menu centered around healthier options and dishes made with fresh local ingredients. Osuna has since opened eight additional Swami's outposts - in North Park, Point Loma's Midway District, Carlsbad, La Mesa, Poway, Encintas Inland, Oceanside, and Escondido - and Honey's Bistro & Bakery in Encinitas.

Like other locations, expect a menu centered around all-day-breakfast and lunch dishes, with items ranging from acai bowls and smoothies to bacon burgers and vegetarian & vegan offerings. The new Vista location will also feature dinner dishes like stuffed chicken breast, fish & chips, seafood cioppino, and an array of pastas and entrees.

The new Swami's hopes to debut by year's end at 20 Main Street in Vista Village. For more information, visit swamiscafe.com.
