Food Network personality Guy Fieri - best known for his hit television program Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives - was spotted filming in San Diego today!
The owner of North Park's The Friendly, Brandon Zanovich, posted the below photo to Facebook Group Eating & Drinking in San Diego earlier this afternoon, which shows Guy Fieri getting out of his signature 1968 red Chevy Camaro SS convertible. In addition to filming more than 350 episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, Guy Fieri also stars in Guy's Big Bite and Guy's Grocery Games, is a published cookbook author, and has restaurants in multiple states.
Guy Fieri is no stranger to San Diego. He has featured many area restaurants on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, including Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill, Crazee Burger, Crest Cafe, Hob Nob Hill, OB Noodle House, Pizzeria Luigi, Studio Diner, and Hodad's. Fieri was spotted today in front of Tiger!Tiger! in North Park, as well as Hodad's in Ocean Beach, which has been included on multiple episodes of DD&D. Based on the presence of his red convertible, which is part of almost every episode, we assume he is filming a new Diners Drive-Ins and Dives episode.
