Spanish Street Food Comes To San Diego | Pintxos Now Serving In La Mesa

Specializing in Basque comfort foods, Pintxos Spanish Street Food is now open in San Diego's La Mesa neighborhood.

Founded by Tony Anton, who was inspired by a lifetime of travel to start a farmer market stand specializing in paella, Pintxos opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant this week in La Mesa. Raising two sons with food allergies, Chef Tony utilyzes only fresh ingredients to present his concise menu of paella, pintxos grilled meat on a stick, and churros. The restaurant is also in the process of seeking a beer & wine license. In addition his new eatery, Chef Tony will continue to operate stands at local farmers markets, including Hillcrest on Sundays, Otay Ranch on Tuesdays, and SDSU on Thursdays.
