Baja-Devoted El Cruce + 241 Unveils In San Diego's South County

A new bar & restaurant devoted to Baja-sourced ingredients has unveiled in the 4,000 square-foot, bi-level space that housed Harper's Music Store for more than five decades. El Cruce + 241 is now open in Chula Vista, offering San Diego's first wholly devoted Baja tap-room, wine bar and kitchen.

El Cruce + 241 markets itself as "the first and only Baja kitchen this side of the border," offering a menu developed by Sano Hussong from Sano Hussong of Humo y Sal and Sano’s Steakhouse in Ensenada. Expect a variety of Baja centric dishes prepared with fresh ingredients available from Baja, as well as a bar serving Baja-brewed craft beer and a curated list of wines from Baja's famed Valle De Guadalupe wine country. El Cruce + 241, which translates to "the crossing at 241," is the product of Collin Corrigan, founder of Cerveceria Transpeninsular, one of the most popular craft breweries in Ensenada.
