A Parisian Boulangerie Is Now Open In San Diego | L'Atelier De Paris Debuts In Encinitas

December 28, 2020

A new all-day 1950s-style Parisian bakery and restaurant has unveiled in San Diego's North County. L'Atelier de Paris has taken over the space previously occupied by 2GOOD2BE Bakery in Encinitas.

L'Atelier de Paris is the product of longtime friends David Laurent and Seghan Bosmans. The pair met when David has teaching at the Elite School of Culinary Cuisine in Brussels and Seghan was one of David's top student and part of the team at David's bakery. The bakery offers a French industrial decor with an all-day menu featuring a variety of classic pastries, coffees, teas, fresh juice, omelets, burgers, Moule frites, tasty sandwiches and salads. There is also an assortment of Belgian beers and French wines. Additional items will be added to the menu in the coming months. Based on the success of the flagship outpost, additional branches of L'Atelier de Paris are expected to open in the San Diego area in future, including a new location coming as early as this February in Carlsbad.

L'Atelier de Paris is located at 204 N. El Camino Real, Suite H, in San Diego's Encinitas. For more information, visit latelierdeparis.com.
