Russell Wilson And Ciara List Their San Diego “Amor Estate” For $54.9 Million, Poised To Break County's All-Time Home Sale Record

NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and Grammy Award–winning artist Ciara have officially listed their sprawling Rancho Santa Fe compound for $54.9 million, placing the property in contention to become the most expensive home ever sold in San Diego County.

The couple purchased the estate in 2021 for $14.5 million and spent the last several years reinventing it into a private resort they named Amor Estate. Their asking price rivals the county’s current all-time record set just weeks ago, when a Del Mar oceanfront home known as Ocean House sold for $50 million - a significant reduction from its original $75 million listing but still the highest residential sale ever recorded locally. Before that, the record was a $47 million La Jolla mansion.
If Wilson and Ciara secure their price, Amor Estate would eclipse the Del Mar benchmark and reset the region’s luxury real estate market yet again. Their listing also comes as the couple fully transitions to East Coast living following Wilson’s move to the New York Giants, after a season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and nearly a decade with the Seattle Seahawks, where he helped deliver a Super Bowl championship in 2014.
Amor Estate sits on just over eight acres inside Rancho Santa Fe’s ultra-exclusive Del Rayo Estates, with nearly 30,000 square feet of meticulously redesigned living space. A sweeping palm-lined driveway leads to a grand motor court and a dramatic double-door entrance opening into a soaring atrium with a sculptural dual staircase.
The Mediterranean-style main residence includes seven ensuite bedrooms, a showpiece great room, and a chef’s kitchen outfitted with dual islands, custom cabinetry, and a sunny breakfast nook overlooking the grounds. The primary suite functions as its own retreat, featuring multiple lounge areas, a fireplace, a spa-style bathroom with steam shower and soaking tub, a boutique-style walk-in closet with glass doors, a dedicated glam room, and a private office.
The scale of the amenities is closer to a boutique luxury resort than a single-family residence. The estate includes a 3,800-square-foot fitness center with sauna, cold plunge, and full spa facilities, a professional recording studio, a state-of-the-art home theater, and a club-style game room and billiards lounge with a full bar. One of the property’s most notable elements is the regulation-size football field created when Wilson transformed a former equestrian arena into his own training ground, where he and teammates have reportedly practiced during the off-season.
Outdoor amenities include a multi-sport court, expansive lawns, a resort-style pool and spa with waterslide, covered loggias, fire pits, a pizza oven, and a 3,300-square-foot Family Fun Pavilion featuring a lounge, arcade, media areas, and children’s play spaces. A two-bedroom guesthouse and a 10-car garage complete the compound.
Throughout the residence, the redesign is layered with Restoration Hardware–inspired finishes, custom craftsmanship, and dramatic architectural elements that collectively elevate the property to the uppermost tier of Southern California luxury. Listing agent Brian Guiltinan describes the estate as functioning more like a private world-class resort than a home, and its sheer scale places it among the most significant residential offerings in the region.
While San Diego County has seen a surge in ultra-luxury listings in recent years, including La Jolla’s $108 million “Sandcastle” estate still on the market, the $54.9 million price tag for Amor Estate marks one of the boldest asks ever in the local market. The recent $50 million Del Mar sale demonstrated that buyers at the absolute highest end are active and willing to transact at unprecedented numbers, making the Wilson–Ciara listing both ambitious and plausible. Their track record of high-value real estate movement - from a $30 million Bellevue sale in 2024 to recent tours of New York properties in the $30 million range - underscores their footprint among the country’s most active celebrity real estate players.
The couple has not indicated whether they intend to purchase a permanent residence in New York, although reports show they have been touring historic Gilded Age properties on the Upper West Side. Their decision to part with Amor Estate signals a full closing of their Southern California chapter - and opens the door for a record-shattering sale in one of the nation’s most desirable luxury markets.
