The largest crawfish boil in the world returns to America's Finest City this spring! Taking over downtown's Waterfront Park on Saturday, May 16, from 11am to 5pm, the 37th annual San Diego Crawfish Boil promises an all-inclusive New Orleans-style party where attendees can feast on thousands of pounds of hot-and-spicy Louisiana crawfish, enjoy live music, and soak up a full afternoon of Cajun culture..Use promo code SDVILLE to save $5 per ticket or code SDVILLETABLE to save $50 per table for 10. Certified as the largest crawfish boil in the world, the LSU Alumni of San Diego Crawfish Boil will import around 25,000 pounds of fresh, live crawfish straight from the suburbs of Lafayette, Louisiana, to be cooked on site at bayside Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego. Each table of ten guests receives 50 pounds of crawfish piled high with seasoned corn and potatoes, making for a true Louisiana-style feast.

Not into peeling crawfish? Additional food vendors will be on site offering Cajun and Creole favorites for purchase. Presented by Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and the LSU Alumni Chapter of San Diego, the all-inclusive event also features live entertainment throughout the afternoon with performances from New Orleans rock band Cowboy Mouth and zydeco legend Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers.

Tickets to the San Diego Crawfish Boil are available online and moving quickly. The Bayou single ticket is $96.88 and includes admission, unlimited cold beer, soft drinks, and bottled water, plus access to a table full of crawfish mixed with seasoned corn and potatoes (50 pounds per 10-person table, typically more than enough for everyone, and often leftovers to take home). Proceeds from the event support the San Diego Scholarship Fund at LSU, which helps provide educational opportunities for students from the San Diego area attending Louisiana State University.
