On Saturday, October 27, 2012 San Diego Monster Bash will take over the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village transforming over eight blocks of San Diego’s downtown neighborhood into a spectacular Halloween block party. Between 6:00 PM and Midnight attendees can enter through the Gates of Hell at 6th Avenue and Market, party on with the undead on Island Avenue, and venture into some of the rowdiest parties the East Village has ever seen.
Since its inception over a decade ago, Monster Bash has turned into the biggest Halloween celebration in Southern California by incorporating some of the most stunning production elements and major entertainment, including nationally renowned, highly sought after DJs. In successfully combining these elements Monster Bash achieves it's goal to create a Halloween experience that will attract people traveling from all over the nation to the streets of East Village in San Diego.
In Trudy’s Trash House, attendees can let their hair down and their dirty side take over as they party the night away with the classiest rednecks straight out of Sturges. This area will come to life with a Semi truck set up as the stage, Harley Davidson bikes and go-go dancers adorning the trashiest, sexiest tats all over their bodies.
The final haunting club will be the Dos XX Fright Club which will recreate a high end, Vegas style party lounge in the middle of the street. In every corner you will find swarms of monsters, hear the unsettling groans of the undead or dance face-to-face with the temptingly dangerous fangs of lustful vampires. The Dos Equis XX Fright Club is not for the faint of heart so be prepared to battle the beasts.
As always, Monster Bash would not be the Halloween extravaganza that it is without the $3,000 CASH Costume Contest hosted by local celebrity emcee Tenacious Tricia and MC Mikey Beats. Choose your costume wisely as it is only after winning this irresistible prize that you will fully be able to rest in peace. Not only does your ticket get you a chance to win $3,000 CASH, but it also serves as a ticket for food and drink specials, as well as, free entrance into the Gaslamp and East Village’s nightclubs and hotspots.
