Ten battling restaurant chefs put their best meat recipe forward while the public blind votes on the best sausage at SausageFest 2013 on Wednesday, June 19th at Hotel Solamar's rooftop lounge, LOUNGEsix. Each year, San Diego's meat masters attempt to cut the competition for rights to the best sausage in town. In this exciting and outrageous cook-off, chefs enter their favorite sausage recipes, from Chorizo to Bratwurst, to present to the public for a winning vote. Come out on June 19th, and see who will be left high and dry, and who will smoke the competition and become the Sausage King of San Diego for 2013.
Jsix, Whisknladle, Port Brewing, The Linkery, Carnitas’ Snack Shack, Europa Sausage, Urban Solace, Coronado Brewing Co., Saltbox, and Burlap/Searsucker. Lost Abbey Brewing will also present "The Road to Helles," a special limited brew release. Entry to the event is $30 and includes a huge beer and all the sausage you can choke down!
Sausage Fest is open to the public and will be located at LOUNGEsix, the rooftop terrace at Hotel Solamar, located at 616 J Street, 4th Floor in downtown San Diego.
