The Inaugural Hormel Black Label Bacon Fest to Take Over San Diego's Liberty Station | August 31 from 1-5pm

Bacon. Either you love bacon, or you're wrong. What other singular ingredient elicits such desire and excitement?  There are many a food festival in America's Finest City, but this August 31st, for the first time ever, Hormel Black Label San Diego Bacon Fest will make its debut at Preble Field in NTC Park in Liberty Station for a festival centered around America's favorite food. Organized by PushPins Media and sponsored by Hormel Black Label Bacon, this event will unite the masses with San Diego's finest chefs, breweries, eateries, wineries, and distilleries for a day of unlimited indulgence in honor of International Bacon Day.

Bacon. Mmmmm. Bacon. We can smell it sizzling already! Bacon will be highlighted in a variety of dishes offered by a gigantic congregation of food purveyors. Come hungry as the list of participating bacon curators currently on board for Bacon Fest includes:  Amore Cheesecake, Barons Market, Blue Wave Grill, Bub's at the Ballpark, Carnitas Snack Shack, Crazee Burger, Handlery Hotel San Diego, Hash House A Go Go, Hormel Black Label Bacon, Ignite Bistro & Wine Spot, Lucky Bastard Saloon, Magnolia Tap & Kitchen, Mixos Gluten Free Bakery, Roseville Cozinha, Sabuku Sushi, Sea Salt Candy Co., Sessions Public, Slater's 50/50, Solare Ristorante, Studio Diner, Sublime Alehouse, Taste & Thirst, The Blind Burro, The Savage Chefs, Toronado, with a total of 40 anticipated to be included as the event draws nearer.

As if all-you-can-eat isn't enough, admission will also include unlimited beverage samples. Participating breweries include Aftershock Brewing, Arcana Brewing Co., Avery Brewing, Ballast Point, Green Flash Brewing, Good Head Beer, Hangar 24 Brewing, Helms Brewing Co., Hess Brewing, Hillcrest Brewing Company, Ironfire Brewing Co., Karl Strauss Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing, Lightning Brewery, Lost Abbey, Manzanita Brewing, Ninkasi Brewing, Port Brewing, Samuel Adams, Societe Brewing, Stone Brewing Co. and Tailgate Beer. Wine will be offered by SakTea, Stack Wines and Vinavanti Wines, and spirits will be peddled by Bacon Vodka, Dos Armadillos Tequila and Kill Devil Spirit Co.

Tickets for the inaugural Hormel Black Label Bacon Fest can be purchased online and are $60 for GA and $100 for VIP which grants an hour of early access, as well as a Brew Caddy to hold your taster glass. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age. Those wishing to participate as food or beverage vendors can still apply!
