RUMORVILLE - CH Projects to Take Over Former Roseville Cozinha Space in Liberty Station

May 21, 2014

We've been curious as to what would  happen to the former Roseville Cozinha space located at 2750 Dewey Road #104 in Liberty Station and recently heard rumors that CH Projects (Ironside Fish & Oyster, Craft & Commerce, Polite Provisions, etc., etc.) has taken over the location, allegedly for another branch of their Soda & Swine concept. We haven't confirmed this with anyone, but in San Diego, rumors tend to be true.

Roseville Cozinha shuttered in September 2013, and we heard then that owner Michael Alves intended to convert his fish-to-fork concept into a food truck, but still no word on that. CH Projects has been taking the city by storm, recently opening Little Italy's Ironside Fish & Oyster, announcing an East Village juice bar concept, and currently finalizing Rare Form - it's Petco Park adjacent deli-concept eatery in the Simon Levi Building, as well as a new Underbelly location in North Park. With a full plate already, we have no idea when or if Liberty Station will get attention.
