107.9FM & Happy Hour Radio Magazine To Host "70's Zone" At Music Box To Benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society On April 28

March 30, 2016

Get ready for a world where everything is psychedelic, colorful and trippy! On Thursday, April 28, from 6-10pm, 107.9FM Mountain Country Radio and Rich Singley, host of the Happy Hour Radio Magazine, will present "70's Zone" at Music Box in San Diego's Little Italy, benefitting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Capped off by a live performance by Steve Miller tribute band "Space Cowboy", featuring Rock & Roll Hall of Fame guitarist, Greg Douglass, the evening will include food from Luna Grill, a live comedy competition, prizes and more!

The evening of 70's-inspired fantasy and fun will start with the sobering message that cancer kills hourly and that we need science to stop this disaster. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is set up to collect funds from this show that go directly to research, care and treatment with amazing prolific results. While this event will be fun, exciting and memorable, ticket purchases and attendance will provide funds to the people at war with cancer, so it's a win-win.

The back to the 70's party will start with "The Gong Show" (remember that show?) with a comedy competition between many of San Diego's brightest and funniest, judged by a panel of San Diego's favorite celebrities. Then, after many fun-filled surprises and prizes, the evening will conclude with a live performance by the fantastic tribute band "Space Cowboy" with the lead guitarist from the Steve Miller Band, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Greg Douglass. Luna Grill will also be donating food for the night.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased online. This event will certainly sell out. Support a good cause, get your tickets today. Music Box is located at 1337 India Street in Little Italy.
