Beerfish Finally Unveils In North Park

June 8, 2016

We thought it was never going to happen! After administrative hurdles caused a nearly 2 year delay in its opening, Beerfish has finally debuted at 2933 Adams Avenue in North Park. From Abel Kaase, the guy behind Sessions Public in Point Loma, Beerfish will offer seafood-centric fare from Executive Chef Aaron Obregon, complimented by a wide selection of local craft beer.

Beerfish gives diners 1,500 square-foot of colorful interior space with a custom steel bar, communal tables, blowfish lanterns, silk screened walls, an ice-filled oyster bar, and an identifiable New England fish house feel from SoCal designers Bells & Whistles, built out by local developer Shea Construction. The 1,300 square-foot outdoor patio offers picnic-type tables for social dining in the San Diego sun.

The menu by Chef Aaron Obregon has an array of casual seafood dishes, including a stocked raw bar with oysters, mussels, clams, scallops, crab claws and more, as well as a lobster roll, fried oyster sliders, salads, sides, seafood sandwiches, chowders and more. In addition to 30 taps of craft beer, there is also a curated list of 5 tapped wine offerings.

Beerfish will operate under limited hours, opening daily at 11:30am, with the intention of launching earlier weekend hours after a "soft opening" trial period.
