Johnny V is a restaurant/bar/nightclub that brings class and sophistication to Pacific Beach without the hefty price tag. JV's Friday evening happy hour (from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.) offers a unique palate-party, since with each beverage you purchase, you can choose one of 13 personal complimentary appetizers (which cost $2 each without a drink order).The appetizer choices include orange chicken, pulled pork sliders, Buffalo chicken and pasta Alfredo. Beverages also are bargains. Well drinks, domestic drafts, and select glasses of wine cost $2, pitchers cost $8 for domestic and $12 for premium, and all other drinks are 50% off. Arrive early to get a seat, because the secret is out, and the line gets long at Johnny V on Friday nights.
