Acqua Al 2 Announces Mother's Day Menu

This Mother’s Day, authentic Italian ristorante Acqua Al 2, which owner and executive chef Martin Gonzalez created to be a replica of its namesake restaurant in Florence, Italy, will host a special prix fixe Mother’s Day menu. Located at 322 5th Ave in the Gaslamp Quarter, Acqua Al 2 is invariably Italian in influence when it comes to its worlds-away cuisine, design and service.

This three-course Mother’s Day menu is set at $30 per person and will consist of the guest’s choice of a primi (first course), secondi (second course) and dolce (dessert).

Petto de Pollo al Prosciutto, Burro e Salvia
Sauteed chicken breast with prosciutto and butter and sage sauce

Filleto all Aceto Balsamico
Hand carved filet mignon with a balsamic vinegar glaze

Branzino con Salsa ai Peperoni Rosso e Sugo di Gamberi
Fresh sea bass with shrimp and red bell pepper sauce

Dolce (choice of one)
Cream custard with a fruit coulis

Lady fingers dipped in espresso layered with sweetened mascarpone cream

Baked ricotta cheesecake with a walnut crust
