For the first time ever, San Diego Restaurant Week will be having it's very own kick off event! #SDRWTaste2012  will be an exclusive first look at what to expect for the coming San Diego Restaurant Week, which will run September 16th-21st! On Friday, September 14, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 PM at the Broadway Pier in the Port Pavilion, people from all over San Diego will gather to indulge in this premiere tasting event.

Over thirty of San Diego Restaurant Week's best restaurants will be serving up samples of house specialties that will delight your taste buds! Each sample will be paired with a unique beverage to enhance the flavors of each dish you sample! This event will also feature live music by Dave Patrone and plush lounge furniture to create a truly enjoyable evening experience.  Tickets to the event will be sold at $75 each and ten percent of each ticket will go to the Food Bank of San Diego’s Backpack Program to feed a child for a weekend.
