After Raising $5,000 In First Fundraiser, Dirty Birds to Host Second Rockaway Hurricane Relief Fundraiser | Thursday, December 20th

December 16, 2012

Dirty Birds in Pacific Beach is once again hosting a Rockaway, NY Hurricane Relief fundraiser this Thursday, December 20th, where proceeds from 7 pm to midnight will go towards the victims of Hurricane Sandy.   Dirty Birds is well known for it’s award winning wings, but it also features a great menu of other items and of course, cold beer on tap. During the fundraiser, Dirty Birds will be offering $3 U-Call-Its and $8 pitchers of icy cold beer.
Last month's event was a huge success and Dirty Birds raised close to $5,000 for the Rockaway Relief fund. The owners of Dirty Birds, who are from the East Coast, continue to feel the need to help out as the East Coast is near and dear to their heart.

"San Diego is my adopted home, but I'm originally from Long Island and a lot of the people on our team here are from the East Coast, as well as a lot of our regulars," explained Dirty Birds owner Leigh Gibson. "Thursday's event is just a small way we'd like to help support our friends and families in Rockaway and other areas affected by Hurricane Sandy."

Dirty Birds is located at 4656 Mission Blvd. in Pacific Beach. For more information on the fundraiser, visit the event page on Facebook, and be sure to visit Dirty Birds online and follow on Facebook and Twitter.
